I did have a spell in insurance, and they are all out for conning people... didnt feel happy with that...
Although a 5 yr policy over 25 yrs is an attractive option?!?!?!?0 -
Unless your happy to take out this policy, its 5yrs cover but you pay over 25 yrs, provides little cover and i recommend it highly, also did i tell you you will not this deal anywhere else in the world?!?! its a one off unique policy guaranteed to cripple you....interested???

Do you think this applys to the FSCS:
"Our ability to perform business collections on Friday 23rd October will be very limited. If a mail centre usually performs customer collections, these may be affected on Thursday 22nd, rather than Friday 23rd. Collections normally made by Delivery Office and Collection Hub staff are likely to be affected on Friday.
Royal Mail service teams will be contacting business collection customers to provide information about their collection services and in the event we may not be able to collect, provide alternatives for getting mail into our network.
Business customers are advised that when their collections are disrupted, they can take their mail to any Post Office or to their nearest mail centre. Details of their nearest mail centre can be found by clicking on one of these links: "DS1 12/10/04

Yes, I think it would pinknico, being a large organisation, they will undoubtedly have their mail collected, on a daily basis. Unless they make alternative arrangements that is. I will check when I get into work tomorrow, as this would apply to us also. I will see what the position is.dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -

Busbyh I know it wont be easy but I needed a cover note for my car before thursday i rung the insurance company paid £10,00 by debit card and it was here at 12.45 today I am sure if you are due to receive a cheque then I would enquire about this, I did state in my previous [post htat if you were prepared to pay this I could not see a problem I am sorry if I have offended anyone, I dont want to as yes I have my cheque but am very concerned about everyione else on here getting theres:othe waiting isn't getting any easier is it pinknico, I am getting really fed up with it all now, as I sense ou are also:mad::mad:
To be honest, it is not as easy as di thinks. If only it where.!! FSCS would not send out all the cheques special delivery. If you think realistically about it, how much would it cost, when you think about the volume of post they must have apart from ours. It would cost a fortune and i'm afraid their budget would not allow this, unfortunately!!
We are lucky if Goverment depts use 1st class mail let alone Special delivery. I work in a Dept with huge volumes of mail and it would not happen i'm afraid,0 -

Oh dialysis, I would never be offended by anything you said, and I truly beleive you have our best interests at heart. Please don't think that:o
It's just that although I may be wrong, knowing how these Gov depts work, I don't think they would see it as being practical. I understand you were able to have your form sent through SD, but with cheque runs , these are somewhat more complex. Also being realistic FSCS are not just sending cheques out to Picture claimants, but to many more caimants of other companies. It is a big procedure to be gone through ( still wish they would hurry up with ours though) :Dxx
As you say di, it may be worth asking FSCS, who knows, with this post strike they may just agree.;)dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -
