Wasnt Dialysis advisor the one who told her to move back to her house and will help her with what is best to do with the compensation?

Where do you go for a Financial Advisor?
I have no idea. There are so many different types of financial advisors. Some advise on things like loans, some mortgages, some investments, some insurance etc etc etc. I would never use an advisor again (only had one once when we bought the house) but its all for personal gain I think cause they all make something out of you from things. Citizens advise offer the service for free if you are in serious debts. I think you only need them if you have a lot of money or not a lot of money. :D

I got mine instead of going to the high street for my mortgage I went through a broker. Mine worked as a mortgage adviser and dealt with repo for 30 years it was only when they rung for an update on my address etc that he recommended we go in to see him about the repo. He has been excellent and taken over all the hassle of our debt etc. Most high streets have them Pinknico, or mortgage brokers:T

sorry marshallka, you've lost me on this one. As far as I am aware only dialysis has mentioned a financial advisor:confused:also don't understand about who we all mean:confused:
Oh forget it, it was me. I thought the wrong thing. There was also another couple that mentioned financial advisor on here I think. I know when you have money to invest its good to have one or when you have lots of debts also its good to have one. Some call themselves "advisors" when in fact they are nothing but "sharks" giving out bad advice as we have all found out. ;)

My daughter used a FA to get rid of Picture, but it is my niece, and wasn't for personal gain as it cost nothing, and to be honest we would have been lost without her.
