Just got an email back from FSCS as follows:

I am afraid I am unable to disclose the decsion. The decision letters that we send out include a full explanation as to how the decision was reached and therefore I would rather you receive this first.
After reading the letter, if you have any questions please call the number shown on the letter

Oh god i am so worried now!!!! I hope the letter is there when i get home

We also started ours in May this year - so it will be interesting to see if they are completed at the same time - keep me updated and I will u!!! xxx :o

Morning Alyson, I will deffo keep you posted. I just hope they were right about it being a matter of weeks. Will you phone again to chase it up, or will you leave it for a while? I am guessing that there is no point in harassing at this stage.

Just out of curiosity can anyone tell me at what stage are case workers assigned and how do you find out who yours is?

PS Got my fingers crossed for some cheques for people today. :D

Hi lozza, as far as I am aware ours was assigned to a case worker about 3 weeks ago. They have been waiting for additional info from new lender, but as they have received all this now, we have been told it shouldn't be long- but then how long is a piece of string:confused:

As far as I am aware our has been with the case worker for about 3 weeks. the hold up was because they have been waiting for extra info from our new lender, who we settled the loan with. This has now been received and have been told it shoulnd't be too long now. -How long is a piece of string though:confused: We have a contact name from deloitte from an email we received, but have never been told the name of our case worker, although the contact assigned to our case is very good.
