I've not heard a thing....I'm going to assume that no news is good news and that the only reason they would need to contact me is if they needed some information from me.
I would imagine that there is a warning sign on my file that says I go bleating to MP's and Cheif Execs if I don't get my own way and that I should be avoided...:D
I'm lucky...whilst I'm struggling I'm not facing reposession like some so I don't want to jump in front of the likes of Dialysis. I will play a waiting game and see what happens.0 -

Hi all,
I called the FSCS, TODAY, got a really nice man (for a change).
They told me that they have not made a desion on how they will pay out.
He said that we would defo get all the payments back that we have paid in, then he said they could talk to the Loan provider to restructure the loan, or pay the whole lot back to us.
I think this is a waiting game im afraid. He said that this is all new to them with PPI claims.
Sorry that it has taken long to let you know about my call.

Thanks Lian You have done an excellent job there. :A Was the man basically saying that it could go either way (We could get what we have paid to date and they could restructure our loan, or we could get the full premium back!)0 -
I cant see how they can talk to the loan provider to restructure the laons for over 1000 claiments that would take months. Surely it would be easier to pay us the whole premium back, which they have on all our paperwork, and like you say Marshallka they can go shoot for the money I will make them wait 18 months like they have me and offer £1 per week
Me too dialysis. I agree with you I can not see the FSCS restructuring 1000 loans. However this may be the reason they outsourced to Deloittes.:rolleyes:0 -

I hope they give it us all back but am not bothered either way. The thing that bothers me is if we do get it all back and dont pay it off the loan then we will in the long term acumilate more interest!!! An d I like others will be tempted to spend!!!!0
