I telephoned FSCS the operator said to me oh it is at the final stage with a senior manager. I said don't lies any more. I told him I was telephoned by a woman on WEDNESDAY and was told that a letter was leaving your offices on Frid 2/10/09. He went very quite !!!!
He then read the notes that Elaine had added on to the system which said letter to be posted to ...... 2/10/09. I lost my temper.
I told him the FSCS are making the rules up as they go along and I wish to log a formal complaint as I have been given information relating to my claim that was totally incrorrect and false.
He asked for my number - he needs to check why the notes confirm wha I was told. He said "I can confirm no check has been sent to you yet hopefully this week"
I told him no hopefully this week - I want an call back with what the decision is and a date of when this letter/cheque will be posted to me, in addition I also want a full explanation as to why I was given totally incorrect information by Elaine on Wed of last week. I also told him they will receive my complaint via e-mail today and also I will send a letter of complaint to back up the e-mail.
I am waiting for a call back.

Really sorry honey2, hope this gets sorted today, well done on making a formal complaint, this is now beyond a joke when their notes even back up what you have been told.

Hi Honey - definately write in to the Head of the FCSC - did you speak with someone at Deloittes or was it the FSCS themselves, sounds like no joined up thinking going on !!!0 -
If you are claim no. 4 and priority Honey2, I now expect mine to be completed by Christmas.
