Mine was back with the FSCS at the same time as beaniebabe and although it could be straightforward, if it wasnt then they would end up with egg on their face. So he said maybe within four weeks, so as mine has been there a week already, three weeks.

Remember I am not priority, I just have a low number and was August 2008.
Beaniebabe is priority so should still be ok I hope.

Will just have to change my mind set to end of October.
Another four weeks and they have had it a week OMG what do they do write a word on the cheque each week and then send it out. I dont hold out much hope of getting mine this week then. They should have it back at the fscs today and was hoping to hear theis week.:mad:

They didnt mean mine wouldnt be straight forward, they were just covering themselves in case anyones isnt straight forward, as in not agreeing with Deloitte.

I only know of one payment so far and Honey is number 4 and I know claimer no.5 neither have been paid.
I bet they are perhaps saying that so you will post on here in the hope everyone will sit back, relax for a couple of weeks and let them get on with it without calling them???

Relax guys...remember what they say and what they do are not always the same. The likes of the FSCS will always give a worst case estimate to cover themselves and avoid any problems with promises they can't keep.

I myself would still expect to hear back on the priority cases this week somemtime and I will call the FSCS today to ensure that they have had the case back from Deloitte's and are acting on it right now.

I'll post up once I've spoken to them...

Stay positive guys, at least we're counting in days rather than months now so no matter how frustrated we all are at least we have this;)

I have been told most probably another 12 months for mine with FOS for a rebate complaint so you are right, weeks is nothing....;)

I think what you are saying is right, they are getting stick about them all and they will no doubt settle them all within a month or so.

Must admit that the guy from the fscs told me that he couldnt give me an exact date cos if he said one week and it was two, and two weeks and it was three, he asked me if I knew what he was saying. And I can understand in a way, lets face it if he had told me a week and I had not heard I would be on the phine again. So reading between the lines he said if I havent heard mid week to ring them. I hope you understand all that.:D
