I was going to then I got that e-mail yesterday from the guy at FSCS saying two weeks or sooner - so I thought maybe I should not phone knowing my luck would get Mr Grumpy!

If no post tomorrow then I will call - I did call Deloitte today (after reading all the messages) the claim handler I had said that he was completely finished with my claim no further info was needed - said it was passed to FSCS for final check 5 weeks ago!!!!!!!!!!!
Picture/Target had given all information he had requested together with my information he was able to come to a conclusion with my claim and pass it back to FSCS. Could not/would not tell me anymore but refered me back to FSCS.

OMG 5 weeks!!!! looks like the original estimate from FSCS about it being end of year might be right, I certainly hope not or I better start packing again. So much for them doing it straight away.:mad:

It just gets worse beaniebabe doesnt it? All this could have been stopped if they had just told us the truth, or gave us the corresct info in the first place. This has got to be stopped for future cases.:mad:

    Hi Beaniebabe

Yes it was priority - my doc sent them a letter outlining the reasons why - they confirmed I would be treated as a priority case.
