Hi I m back Dad ok and walked the dog. No post yet, but I dont ezpect to hear today though. Am i right in saying that mammamia got her full PPI back, plus interset paid to date, plus 8% statatory interest. How do you work out how much interest you have paid on your loan? That ones for our resident mathmatition.:D
Give us your figures dialysis and I can have a go for you. ;)

Hello Marshallka, agree with you but the only reason there would be remining interest on ongoing loans is if people dont use their refund to pay off the PPI part of the loan.

In effect the FSCS has taken the easy/quickest way out and is leaving it up to the claimants to pay off Picture and then the loan gets recalculted by Target
So if mammania paid all that off the loan then it should put her back into the position as if she never had the PPI (or thereabouts??). I just wish she was on so I could double check but none of her posts say the actual repayments... I could work it perhaps if I had those, don't know for sure but would like a go.

Yes, but not quite in the same position as only 90% is paid after the first £2000
so mammamia should have got Total £19,482.95 but got
total £17934.66. So down £1547.99. But she could still use some of the interest refunded to pay off the £14096.75 premium which then would get no further interest.

Dialysis does the amount of interest paid to date depend on the interest youve been charged on the loan?
