God, you UW reps will jump on anything won't you? This is a reasonable appeal for help and advice, but you just want to sell your tawdry product. That's why the UW model is so reprehensible, because it relies on emotional blackmail.
Please explain where I did not sympathise with Wadaw or offer advice in a reasonable manner. Also, Utility Warehouse provides the same sort of services as other utilities companies, how are these offerings tawdry? Emotional blackmail?

I am an independent distributor with Utility Warehouse and the views I express may not be shared by the company.

They do use "emotional blackmail" in their training for their reps.

We have seen in this training video how their reps are trained to "use" friendships by asking their friends for help over a "problem at work".

They are taught to ask if their friend could spare some time to help them do some "practice", when really they are intending to use their "friendship" to sign up their friends for "at least four services, because that's what the top distributors do":

Absolute rubbish. I have attended training sessions and never been emotionally blackmailed. I believe he was talking about gathering customers and there is no emotional blackmail used by any other distributor that I know or myself either. Isn't it about time you apologised for previously making a false statement about me personally?

Seeing that the vast majority of UW reps sign up family members or friends, they do use the innate trust which has already been established in this relationship. That's possibly why the UW useless triple guarantee would be accepted at face value, while we all know its a sales tool designed to put potential customers at their ease.

As we already have a humungous UW thread, can this one be merged into it? Otherwise, we're just going to get the same old, repetetitious arguments!
