Would a punter currently on Websaver3 be charged the £60 exit fee if they transferred to Websaver4?

    Hi everyone,

Just to confirm what fullstop has said, FixOnline 3 has today been launched.

The prices on this tariff will remain fixed at standard rates until 1 December 2010. This tariff contains a cancellation fee that maybe applied if the terms of the contract are broken. This will be £30 for duel fuel and £10 for electricity only.

I'm on click 6 - will I be better off moving to websaver 4, now?

I hate the way BG change their on-line tariffs and hang their current on-line customers out to dry. I'd love to change suppliers but BG usually works out cheapest for me.

What you have to remember is that all six of the energy suppliers take it in turn to launch new tariffs simply to claim they are the "cheapest" and of course to keep the comparison sites in money.
The whole thing is just a "merry-go-round".

If any of the six providers had any credibility they would immediately scrap all their tariffs and have ONE price for gas and ONE price for electricity and stop trying to con and bambooozle the general public with all their gimmicks.

That way a true comparison could be made, but ,of course, they don`t want to be open and honest.
