    It says

" Your item with reference ZW0********GB has been delivered.
If the item is being delivered to you at work, and you have not received it, please check with the mailroom or your colleagues.
Sorry, an electronic proof of delivery is not available for this item."

Ring RM customer services and ask them for proof of signatures by post. They will charge you a small amount and send it to you via post, then fax that document to Paypal and they will release the money. I had this experience, the electronic proof was not available online but problem sorted by this way. All the best!

I just had a thought but technically if the item was below £150 (you say it was £60 if i understand you) you don't need a signature only online proof of delivery. So maybe you need to remind them of this as Royal mails site says its delivered. If i'm wrong and the item was more than £150 sorry.

. For transactions with a value of £150 or more, you need to provide proof of signature from the recipient if the buyer claims that the item did not arrive.

I sent a Radley Handbag by special delivery, they confirmed it had been signed for but could not confirmed delivery if you entered the tracking info, it would not confirm delivery, so lucky that buyer was honest!

I received a letter from RM, the parcel was collected through the "local post office collect" service they offer, which strictly speaking shouldn't be allowed on Special Delivery.

Royal Mail refunded my £9 shipping cost :)

I had to fax paypal my proof of receipt for posting the item as they said they couldn't open a high def JPG image of it! I have the money refunded from paypal now. :)

RM won't pay out for loss when they know they have delivered the item. Also you are required to sigh a claim form to say you are not making a fraudulent claim (or such like), would anyone really be happy to sign that?
how do royal mail know that they have delivered the item if they have no signature?? You just have to take postie freds word for it???
you pay to send special delivery to ensure receipt and signature on delivery and sufficient compensation should the parcel go missing- if you do not have that then I do not see that it is a fraudulent claim?
