NO, NO, Don't be scared..... Post, post, post and some more...some late nights, it's just me all on my own.
Worst that can happen, someone tells you you are a !!!!!!.
PS;Trying out the rude word censor tonight.
Nah, I am usually here too but not posting......or too busy talking on the mic via msn to post anyway. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
I speak a little bit like Kirstie. Its softened A LOT over the years though. I also have a tnedancy to pick up local influences: drives my parents mad. In fact, my childhood accent is what got me sent ''home'' to boarding school.0

No, I mean horsey and annoying. Like Kirsty.
Of posh, horsey women?
Well, no. But featuring normal families not worrying about the 8th bedroom not having an ensuite would make a nice change.
Does this mean its over between us? I'm so sad. In fact, I've been feeling more big sisterly towards you. It really was the name thing

you can ride my special girl.
I will take you up on that offer one day for sure........they do scare me a bit though....the kicking and the snorting and the big teeth.0 -

I'm not bitter in the slightest, I just don't like a lot of the people featured on the show as they seem annoying. If you earn enough to buy a £500k house, then that's great. I also like to see people buying big houses (as I'm odd like that).
But a bit of variety on the show wouldn't go unwelcomed.0 -

The bloke who did our "careers advice" was called Cleaver. Idiot. We had to queue up outside the room, nearly 40 of us, a 40 minute lesson. So you had a minute.
Cleaver: "What do you want to do?"
PN: "fly planes"
Cleaver: "Did you do Physics O level?"
PN: "Er no"
Cleaver: "Right, you can pick from nurse, secretary, hairdresser or work in a factory/shop"
PN: "Er ... secretary"
Cleaver: "Here's the form then for secretarial college"
Cleaver: "NEXT"0 -

We seem to have moved from the gutter to the sewer. You don't get that on a Mewbie thread, bit more aspirational.0

OK...I am going to be a bit serious here for a min.
Some start off with more than others.
Some start out with masses more (and it really rankles when you are aged 20 something as it's sooo not fair) but you can't get wound up about it or let it stop you from trying things yourself.
Son is all grunty at the mo.
22, post uni, overdraft to sort out but in a way more comfy position than OH and I were at his age...but tis not enough in his eyes as there are mateys of his who are starting out adult life with way much more.
Doesn't help the ex GF has moved into her donated mortage free flat in London Bridge recently aged 22 (slump value at least 600k).
Poor OH wanted to go into FE but wasn't allowed to by his family.
Which reminds me, a tranche from his side are visiting tomo and we are going to have a bit of the ''Oh, your sooo lucky but it's different for us'' chat errr....nope it's not. We all started out from same place 25 odd years back.
I just didn't get caught up in J Kyle land.0
