Er.. and in my defence, because I was trying to remember what possessed me to do such a 'Fungus style' post. Anyway - in my defence - someone in the Moneysavers had done a long and very boring thread, with hundreds of replies and thankyous titled "My Cat Brought in a Bird". So I thought "I'll have some of that". Except I didn't.

I wasn't being saracastic with my 'great thread' comment, it was!

I thought all the p*ssy jokes were a bit predictable, but I doubt I would have been above all that.

OK...I am going to be a bit serious here for a min.
Some start off with more than others.
Some start out with masses more (and it really rankles when you are aged 20 something as it's sooo not fair) but you can't get wound up about it or let it stop you from trying things yourself.

Son is all grunty at the mo.

22, post uni, overdraft to sort out but in a way more comfy position than OH and I were at his age...but tis not enough in his eyes as there are mateys of his who are starting out adult life with way much more.

Doesn't help the ex GF has moved into her donated mortage free flat in London Bridge recently aged 22 (slump value at least 600k).

Poor OH wanted to go into FE but wasn't allowed to by his family.

Which reminds me, a tranche from his side are visiting tomo and we are going to have a bit of the ''Oh, your sooo lucky but it's different for us'' chat errr....nope it's not. We all started out from same place 25 odd years back.
I just didn't get caught up in J Kyle land.
I dont think it's where you start, it's where you feel comfortable. I am common as muck working class, worked my way to the middle class and ended up back at the bottom.
Clawed my way back to half way respectable and discovered, as much as I want to belong, I just aint a p*k*y anymore. Doesn't mean I haven't taken their moral values with me, just means they despise me

    Wise words, thanks for them.

I'm not bitter in the slightest, I just don't like a lot of the people featured on the show as they seem annoying. If you earn enough to buy a £500k house, then that's great. I also like to see people buying big houses (as I'm odd like that).

But a bit of variety on the show wouldn't go unwelcomed.

I agree, the early series were better.
