I agree. OH and I watch these progs with our jaws on the floor. :rotfl:

Last night's Location really pee'd me off though as the Trinity area of Edinburgh was where my Mum's house was. When she died years ago, we sold it for £35,000. The houses there are worth a fortune now, recession or no recession. I really wish we'd had financial advice then.

My OH cant believe what b*******s the wives all are. No way would he put up with the way they talk to their menfolk on there! I wonder how many of those couples actually split up a few years on (if that long). I mean that younger couple last night, it seemed to me the bloke was back tracking a lot of the time and she was making all the moves.

The other couple, gawd, what does he do where he can earn that much and still wear two rings in one ear lobe (pmsl). And I thought she looked like a thinner Davina McCall? Such a pair of cant make minds up - how can they be successful in business - cant understand it at all.

What's that got to do with anything? :p:rotfl: Actually she was the double of my cousin, I had to look twice at the tv when she came on. :D

Exactly, I mean the thin Davina (and its got nothing to do with it :) just she reminded me of her) said at one point, "We havent sold our house and I havent got a job". Then at the end they had bought the place but not moved in "because she was pregnant again"??

I haven't seen last nights yet, but I think LLL has run it's course really. I only watch it because I like seeing inside other people's houses. I can't remember when they last had people on who weren't spending a massive amount of money and actually bought a house. Mostly it's just annoying posh people who want to be on telly.

Also, not sure if this has been mentioned before - why is there a huge gap between when the show was filmed and transmission? It keeps making me think they are repeats.
  • There is a trend on LLL and Grand Designs for them ALWAYS to be pregnant by the end of the show!

Especially when they have built a beautiful 1 bed property on land allowed only 1 bed properties!

Kevin and Phil must have something a bit special!
