current version: 3.0.6

we are putting in AJAX - its active java things, lets you edit / update / post things w/o reloading the page. faster for you and uses less bandwith for us... major benefits for board guides also for mass thread / post handling and so forth...

other than that, it will be pretty much business as usual...
the beta install is about done, hopefully, bar any issues, i am to install by 3-4 pm.

If anyone is around, we need some users to muck around on the test forums before the upgrade this afternoon.

If you've time, please go to the link below and try testing as many features as you can, doing what you'd normally do. If you find any errors / glitches / strangeness, please report them here.

Please note that this database copy was taken a month ago so new joiners may not have accounts and any passwords you've changed will have reverted. Unfortunately, we do not have the time to rectify these.

Problem!

I pressed the "switch editor mode" button when replying and now the reply box goes over the right hand edge of the screen!

I logged into to test site and got a NEW PM from 15.03.06 that I've never read

Could this be anything to do with the phantom PMs that some of us had the last time the site changed changed?

Are you using IE or Firefox? I'm using IE and haven't discovered this problem yet!

I had the same problem.

Editing box all over the place
