Forum Upgrade

Hi folks,

We are planning to upgrade our now venerable Chat Forum to a brand new quicker, faster souped up version of vBulletin (the software package that runs the forum). We're hoping will this improve performance, sort out some glitches and add some nice new features.

We're planning to do this on the afternoon of Thursday, April 27th 2006 from around 2:30pm onwards. It is likely to take a few hours so we may be down beyond 6pm although, of course, we'll do our very best to minimise downtime.

This is also dependant of some testing that needs to be done but I wanted to give you as much advance warning as possible.

We hope to be opening the test forum to some select regulars this afternoon so please check back here if you have some free time.

Is that why the sites running so slow?

Its not sure if its going through the change today or tomorrow.
