Hi Guys, Virgin sent someone ever today to sort out my broadband connection (the one that does not require a landline), but he said that he cant do it because the cable does not reach my basement flat. So basically, I have to get a new internet connection. I currently do not have any landline in my home, but there is a connection for one. Now I have to get a broadband package with a landline telephone. Please tell me what would be my cheapest option? I would preffer unlimited monthly downloads, but could settle for 10GB.
    Please help chaps!
    Cheers

Did he not have any cable in his van then?

I would query this with Virgin.

Yes, you are. Look at the column headed 'LLU Operator's Presence'. All those with 'enabled' are available as LLU.

Think you meant to say £5 a month discount. With that it's £7.34pm, 1st 2 months free and £50 Quidco cashback. By far the best option on your exchange.
    Yes I did

In these circumstances cheaper does not mean better.
O2 will cost you a bit more but it's an infinitely better service

    Hi Robodog,
You have to get the line first and then it takes 1 week for orange to get b/b on your line.
    Thanks

  • o2 was doing free b/b for new pay monthly customers. I was ready to buy a new contract for my OH. But they refused to do free BB for me as I was a customer already.

I would Google Orange Broadband before proceeding, it appears they are the Lemon of ISP's, well about equal to Talk Talk/Tiscali in the bad reputation stakes.
