Sorted out my 50 day challenge for MG's thread..
1. Finish mentoring course and arrange next steps
2. Finish philosophy course and arrange next steps
3. Post on blog at least 2 times a week and build up a following
4. Get debt down to £7k
5. Lose 10lb
6. Do something to work on my lack of confidence
This last one is a bit vague but I am going to try to make definite steps towards it.
Slept in this morning due to the alarm being in another room.. oops! Bit of a mad rush to get to work and still don't feel awake. Roll on 5pm!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Lol I wasn't saying you should get rid of it - although it struck a nerve with me re why I don't do meditation etc - I think too much as it is without giving myself more time to do it!
I'm back.. and overwhelmed with things to catch up with, work and otherwise.
Had a nice few days, walk in a very foggy wood on Sunday, shopping and lunch Monday and the local city farm yesterday. My mum is still here today but I've got a training course at work this afternoon so I've had to come in.
Had some good news - second job people have offered me some teaching work - not quite sure what it will involve or when it will start but definitely going to say I'm interested!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
No, I know you weren't saying get rid of it - I was a bit dubious about posting it before I pressed the button - horses for courses and all that.
Foggy woods sound lovely to walk in - is the training course an enjoyable one? And yay to the second job people - they *really* like you! Brill.
PS - do hop over to mine again, I've posted about some shelving for the kitchen, I want votes
PPS - sorry, you've already said you're mad busy!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Foggy wood was amazing - have been in the area before but not on that path.. steep valley down by the river, autumnal leaves everywhere, rushing water...
The second job people said I was "absolutely superb"Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Afternoon (already!)
Very tired, up early to make sure my mum got her train. Had a nice evening with a Chinese from the happiest Chinese takeaway people I've ever met
Bits of news.. my landlady is sending my deposit today, hooray! I've emailed to ask about the teaching work. The Philosophy course that was my top choice isn't running so I need to do some more thinking/ finding out about that. I have blogged. Work is busy but I feel sort of on top of it!

Busy but on top of it sort of sums it up, doesn't it, how nice! You sound like you enjoyed your mum's visit too.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
