That *is* nice. Ooh, and your day off tomorrow is to clear out your *old* flat, isn't it :D Thats brilliant! I bet your landlady will be sorry to see you go, you must have been an amazing tenant - £500 a month and never there!
    :D

Don't freeze, by the way! Keep warm :)

Yep, should hopefully be moved out by next week! Yes I suppose she must have been making quite a good profit seeing as I wasn't using any electricity or gas.

Mr S still hasn't told me how much 'rent' he wants.. tut!

Yep! Not sure what the mortgage payments would have been but I imagine she would!

Tee hee - I've just noticed that the Quidco cashback for the Dorothy Perkins order that was cancelled.. has validated! Not only did I not spend all that money, I actually made some :rotfl:

Helloooo.. oooo I ache! Well yesterday was very productive - everything is packed except the books and kitchen stuff. I threw out a LOT - the bins were practically empty when I got there, and when I left, two big wheelie bins and two recycling bins were full! :o  It was quite emotional at times, finding old photos, letters and in particular a card from an old colleague who died earlier this year.

Going to start actually moving stuff tonight so will be even more shattered! Work has been busy today - you would have thought I'd been off for a week!

Thanks Beanie. I was also thinking it was a shame that Mr S's house isn't where my flat is! It's such a nice area, two parks within a few minutes walk with walks right out to the countryside through them. I will miss that a bit even though I haven't really been there for ages!

In other news - am getting paid for extra work from second job in November (even though I haven't done it all yet!), that will be a nice little extra before Christmas. Hoping to - NO, I WILL! - have the overdraft paid off next month too.

I'm a little bit excited - it's been a few years since I got any new qualifications, and I've just found out that I've completed the first one I was doing via my second job. It was relatively straightforward, but quite a bit of work, and since it's been a while, it feels really good to be getting another thing to add to my CV - and a nice shiny certificate :D

Lots of good news! Apart from missing the parks .... I'm not surprised going through your flat was emotional, especially with doing it in one day. Does it feel good to have done it tho?
