I knew I had a list round here somewhere...

    House
Clean flat and move last few bits
Email landlady about leaving a few things - done - although our email accounts don't seem to want to speak to each other at the moment, might have to phone her tomorrow
    Unpack suitcase
Sort spare room for mum arriving

    Work - job 1
    Do E annual report

    Work - job 2
Do another batch of resources - 20 if poss

    Courses and other stuff
Finish Philosophy assignment - more or less done, asked a lovely helpful person to have a read of it for me
    Do Mentoring course assignment
Read something course-related or otherwise useful for at least 30 mins a day. - erm, sort of, but Mr S distracted me with sudoku last night.
Make a start on blog! - yep! really enjoying it, although whether anyone will actually want to read my ramblings is another matter :rotfl:

Still no word from landlady so I'll have to give her a ring today. Grr!

Feeling quite demotivated with work this week - think it's because I know I've got a long weekend coming up and I just want to be there now. Really struggling with the shortening days too.

I've said I'll join in with the 50 day challenge on MG's thread so I'll need to think about what I actually want to achieve in 50 days...

    OK so initial thoughts are..

    Finish mentoring course
    Finish philosophy course
Post on blog at least 2 times a week and build up a following
    Get debt down to £7k
    Lose 10lb

But this is all stuff I'm doing anyway, so it doesn't feel like a particular achievement (even though it is).. I'd like to do something brave that I wouldn't normally do, but I don't know what!

Actually, also sort out what I'm going to do next course-wise..

    Possibilities for studying..

Philosophy - have emailed Univ of Wales who were waiting for course to be accredited, nothing on their website yet. If that's not running then maybe another of the Oxford courses (or could I manage two at once?) - Ethics, Metaphysics or Philosophy of Mind. There are also some distance learning courses at St Andrews which are really aimed at teachers but can be done by anyone. Otherwise, well I do work at a University! Could find out if there's any possibility of completing degree here somehow - we don't officially do part-time study but I wonder if something could be worked out. Depends if work think it's useful for me to complete a degree though!

Mentoring/ teaching - possibility to do another course free starting in January I think (via job 2).

I know what you mean about the challenge. You *could* look at it as being that you don't want this stuff to drift on, you want to finish this layer and take the next step ... or you could say, yes, but I'm going to have one mad goal in there too - a parachute jump for charity or something :)

Morning.. I think part of it has to be sorting out the next step. I'd love to be able to do something like speak in public - I am terrified of that - but I'm not sure there are any opportunities coming up. I'm not jumping out of a plane though!

Finished the flat clear-out/ cleaning last night - hand the keys back at the weekend!

And it's payday tomorrow which is very nice :D

As for my list - not managed to do the resources for job 2 - can maybe get some of them done tomorrow. The report for job 1 is today's task - it's nearly done to be honest, just need to finish some bits. Philosophy assignment is done, will submit that today. Have been doing reading.. haven't started mentoring assignment, it's not due till the end of next week though. Tidying spare room tonight..

    Yaaaaaawn!

Definite yawning going on here, too, I got up too early. You'll find the right goals for this next challenge, I'm sure.

Morning Squizz, sorry you had a bad nights sleep...:(

I had the best nights sleep ive had for about 6 months last night, don't think I moved all night until the alarm went off - very unlike me!

Whats your plans for the weekend with your mum?
How did cleaning the old place go last night?

    Hooray for good sleep!

Not sure what we're doing at the weekend, depends on the weather a bit. She is going to a concert one night (not actually sure if I'm going with her or not - she's been a bit vague about whether she bought me a ticket!). Probably a walk somewhere if it's nice and no doubt a bit of shopping.

Cleaning was pretty quick really - although you wouldn't believe how dusty somewhere can get with nobody living in it!
