Pretty good yeahI had a really nice chat with my dad on Saturday and he said he was so pleased that I'd met someone who I was relaxed with and made me happy
Hope you enjoyed your lie in on Sunday
I had to stand around in the cold!!! Nah it was quite fun actually - Kipchogee won the means race in a pretty decent time (although he looked wrecked at the end)! The womens race was less exciting because the good Brit dropped out at 7km and decided not to finish even though she was on a blinding time!
Awww you is alll loved up - thats niceIs he into running? You could train for something together
Glad you had a good time - had mixed emotions about not doing the race but right decision in the end I think. Just looking at the results now.. hmm those look more like my 5k times :rotfl:
He does run a bit but is naturally faster than me - we have been out a couple of times together which was fun and good for pushing me to go quicker but most of the time I prefer running on my own.. no pressure to keep up and time to think
Have just treated myself to some gardening books (second hand very cheap!), I muddle along most of the time with it but would like to learn a bit more about doing it properly. Rather excited about them arriving and reading about soil types and stuff... how sad:rotfl:

Oooo my oxfam clothes arrived yesterday (took long enough due to strikes) I love them - thanks for introducing me to it - now just have to be disciplined and not go on it!
Might do xmas from them for the family0 -
Morning Squizz. You sound so relaxed these days. Good times. xxx
No, I haven't trawled throuh the entire diary yet! Was the OU course to do with Gardening? If not, maybe it should be?:D stay wonky
:D
....one-way ticket to Portugal booked !0 -
You're welcome, great that you've sorted out your Autumn wardrobe so easily
I'm wearing my black and white shift dress today actually!
Last night was spent running - which went really well - dashing round the house tidying up and then collapsing on the sofa until I had to drag myself into bed just after 9. Not the best night's sleep though
Today I have set up a standing order for one of my debts - all set for new payments to start at next payday, apart from one which I'm still waiting for details. Still on course to pay off that naughty little £146 at the end of the month :j
Pepe- no it's a Philosophy course (what I did most of a degree in a few years ago), I love it but I'm just not sure about the commitment. Strangely enough I was looking at gardening courses yesterday - I would like to learn a bit more and maybe do some voluntary work with it.. well ideally I'd like to be a gardener in Summer and something office-based in Winter I think :rotfl:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Quiet day at work so far, been having a look at some exciting courses about organic gardening and composting
Am keen but at £50 each it's probably something I should save up for.
Organised friend's birthday present (big birthday in a few weeks) - magazine subscription which I don't have to pay for until next month (and I got 3 issues for £1 then £14.60 for the next six). Have got an little pressie for her to open too which I bought im sales last month, a necklace that reduced from £10 to £2 - so all pretty DFW I think!
Just had email from my landlady asking if I want to renew lease at end of November, she needs to know by mid-October. That's all I'm saying on that front!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
But surely you could go onto a rolling contract anyway - then you can make a decision month on month rather than 6 monthly0

I need to check actually, I think the last contract I had was for a year with a month's notice to leave. Not that I'm thinking of going anywhere.. honest.. just keeping my options open :A And actually for the amount of time I spend at home at the moment I might be better looking for something cheaper!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

say no more!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Well if you dont renew it just becomes a rolling periodic where by law she has to give you two months notice and you have to give her one - might be worth thinking about for a little while so you can have the flexability to leave if a better offer comes up0
