I know you can get clothes for an interview on jsa but are there any other ways for normal everyday clothes due to a weight loss.
Is a budgeting loan the only thing available for help with clothing!
Ive checked community care grant but i dont fall into the categories plus i dont think its for clothes anyway!
Thanks.

could try local charity shops (swapsies?), or advertise on gumtree, friday ad sites.. or maybe freecycle? some busy towns have unofficial side groups (on yahoo groups- brightonfreecycle / brighton_freecycle_cafe, etc)..Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
Sometimes seen lurking on the compers forum :-)0 -
Ebay is really good for clothing and the jumble sale season will be starting soon.0

If the clothes are too big, surely you could take them in? A good way to learn a new skill at the same time!Gone ... or have I?0

You should receive about £64.30 each and every week. This grant can be used to pay for clothing.0

That isnt a grant, in my case I have been made redundant after being employed for 15 years continuously, I am able to claim JSA because I made enough contributions to cover my entitlement for 6 months. Hope thats ok0 -

Your contributions covered the JSA of people who were unemployed whilst you were working just as your benefits are now paid by those currently employed.
If you sell your too large clothes on Ebay you can use the money to buy smaller sizes either on Ebay or elsewhere.0 -
It is really easy to take a lot of clothes in. Most just involve the waistband being removed and the seams split down (but you can see where you're going and can only cut little bits - like an inch or two at a time to see the fit.) And you can see the shape of the clothes. I've had to do a few, but I learnt off my mum who used to do it professionally.** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
**SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.
