I now have my shifts booked for the coming weekend and the weekend after. It will be nice to have extra money coming in for debt, a chance to be independent and work, and to have my own wage coming in.

It is nice as will be getting paid weekly, so I can chip away sooner.

I've just gone from weekly to monthly pay. It always seemed like I had more money for some reason, even though I had the same outgoings. I suppose because I never had that just before payday thing every month where my account looked really empty.

I have paid £92.65 to mastercard today, it will be nice to pay more soon. I need to decide once and for all which debt I am attacking first, would you start with one and clear it or would you chip away at a few.

Also I need to find a manual blood pressure monitor, you know the older ones where you had to pump it up yourself and watch the dial go round, also need to buy a nurses watch that clips to my uniform for when I have to time peoples breathing. I know I am not a nurse but healthcare assistants are the ones that often do the observations, such as blood pressure etc, as the nurses are inundated with paperwork and other physically demanding things. I want to get the blood pressure monitor to practice at home because if the digital one stops working you have to use a manual and they are a little more tricky if you haven't used one before.

Any dooyoo experts out there, how do some people rate so much, there are some members who have only been there a couple of months and they have done thousands.

Personally I am attacking them one at a time, starting with my MBNA credit card as that has a really high APR. You could either do similar or perhaps pick the smallest one to clear first?

    Is there anybody out there........

Does anyone have advice on insurance that I mentioned in the above post, also dooyoo, I am so near my £20 voucher I just need a few more rates, how do people manage to rate so much, some have only been on there a few months and that have done at least a 1000 normally much more, is there a knack or am I just slow.

    Hi Lauhen,

I'm new to this site so have only just read your messages. Good luck with the debt busting and your new job, it sounds like you are really determind so I'm sure you'll do really well :)

I've just registered on dooyoo and written my first review. My user name on there is NickyBo. Could we add each other to the 'circle of friends' thing and then rate each others reviews? I'm sure that's how people get so many ratings so quickly.

My aim today is to get to my £20 voucher on dooyoo, so i will look for you nickybo, i could have got to this point ages ago, its just i often get a dooyoo block and my reviews sound rubbish. And then you get people commenting on the mistakes that you have made, but now i try not to make mistakes, and at the end of the day i think to myself, if i was needing advice on this product, would i find this review helpful, if i can answer yes to this then i am happy.

hooray, i made it to £20 on dooyoo, i have written such a long review for that last push, i am so easily pleased. But i want the amazon voucher to put to my daughters christmas present of an ipod nano from amazon, so i now have, or will have once i get it, £40 in amazon. Need to work a bit harder to make the final £60. I am determined not to have to put anything towards it.

    Thankyou katch22,

I feel really positive about doing this, although I know this won't last. I am also on a diet, I want to be 10 stone by Christmas, I am not huge but just need to shift those spare few pounds. I want to be healthier, I have started doing alot more homemade cooking and feel better for it. I am also doing the ea sports active on the wii and boy do my legs hurt.

I have put myself down for the September grocery challenge, I want to budget £300 but ideally I want it to be £250, fingers crossed. I have my main shop being delivered Saturday from sainsburys, they were the cheapest on mysupermarket.
