so have started saving enough each month to cover the payment and also a bit of spending money. I am also putting anything from 20p and under into my big piggy bank and will use this for spending money too.
That's the spirit - budget, budget, budget - there's nothing wrong with it (all the cool kids do spreadsheets these days)
