Wow that is from Jeremiah in the Bible! When I didn't get the A level results I wanted and couldn't seem to find a university place - I felt God gave me that verse - the next day I got into a university - where I went on to meet my husband to be.... Always nice to hold onto that verse. I even got a scholarship of a few hundred quid at the end of the year for a couple of years which I hadn't been expecting either...

Had a lovely night last night, had one of my friends from school round. We were best friends at school then lost track but have now reunited via the wonderful world of Facebook.

We have met up a few times and it just like we have never split up. Had lots of wine and nibbles and a good old gossip, happy days :D

Have my nieces round today so they are all upstairs playing "puppies" whatever that my entail lol. I am just having a chill on here then will be off to be a domestic goddess lol

Well I have a mountain of washing and ironing to get through and need to wash up the debris from last night lol.

I do have a dishwasher but haven't used it since I moved as seems a bit of a waste of money and energy when there is only the two of us here.

Have just remembered I have a small confession............I have booked a holiday. Two weeks in Turkey next July :D

It has worked out a bit of a bargain actually as I have been a little bargain shopper. I am going with my sister and her family and my parents. We found a beautiful 6 bedroomed villa in Bodrum overlooking the sea. It has an infinity pool, a kids pool and a gym :D.

I managed to speak to the owner and bag a discount if we booked early, I then wangled a deal on all our flights under a group booking and the grand total for the holiday with flights, hotel accomodation at Gatwick and two weeks car parking was £470 :T.

The villa is beautiful and very modern with all mod cons so will be perfect for our little gang.

My idea is to raise extra money via reviews, mystery shops and ebay to pay for the holiday and mine and my DD spending money so there is no need to impact on my savings.

So I have a year to do this and a year to lose 5000000 stone too so I can be a slinky mummy in a bikini :rotfl:
