It is run by Pete and Tina Sheldrick.

I took my dog there for 14 years before she sadly died of old age. Friends have taken their cats and dogs there on my recommendation and are still using them now.

They do not have a website but always welcome people for a look round.

Netto are selling Leg of Pork Joints at £1.99 / Kg that's just 86p / LB!!!:j

The joints are really lean, boneless and look fantastic. The price is too good to miss as Sainsburys have the same joints at £2.85 per KG which is not far off the normal Netto price @£2.99 / Kg, normally £4.29 in Sains.

Do be sure to pick up the Pork Leg Joint as the Pork Loin joints are next to them but are much more expensive. They also made a mistake on pricing the early deliveries so if the label doesn't say £1.99/Kg but £3.99 then ask a member of staff to reprice it for you. I did and was told they've had an email warning of the error so no problem repricing it.

Also the Netto lean mince is excellent too at £3 for two it's again way below the Sains price of £4 for too and every bit as tasty! (Even the Netto minced beef is good at 2 for £2 but does contain a bit more fat).

Hi, i need to buy a battery for a Ford Escort diesel engine(1.8), and cant believe the prices of them now, £65 - £85 i have been quoted.

Does anyone know where the best place to go for one in Milton Keynes, and is this now a fair price (£56)

Any help would be appreciated.

A few years back, I owned a Diesel Escort, and lived up the road from these guys in New Bradwell - JB Autoparts, MK 314645. They were very reasonable for the replacement battery I had to get (can't remember how much it was, mind!).

I'd recommend giving them a call (I'm sure they'd help fit it if you need it!), and if they're too expensive, my only other option would be MotorServ in Old Wolverton.

Hi everyone

There's a voucher on page 24 of today's Citizen (Thurs 20 March) for a Free Boots Time Delay product. You need to take it to the Crown Walk store between 26 March and 22 April.

The actual voucher's quite difficult to read in my copy as it's rather blurry but here's what I think it says it's valid for

They're marked on the shelf as discontinued but no actual price. Look for green boxes with 'lasts up to 6 years' on!

I recently used Motorserv in old wolverton - an aa engineer told me about it as I had to replace my battery.

It cost about £55 which I thought was OK and came with a 5yr guarantee

'Fraid I can't help with the Family ticket, I know that an adult ticket is more than enough though!

Has anyone managed to find a respectable plumber? It's Easter Sunday, nothing's open, no-one's working and my stopcock's burst! Typical, eh?

Anyway, I've managed to get it temporarily repaired, but I need to source a plumber now to get it replaced. Has anyone managed to locate someone who's actually done a reasonable job??
