The one at Ashland is definitely shut, although they've left the boards outside which is a bit confusing (they've bulldozed the place now!)

Have heard rumours about a new stadium but not sure where or even when...

As for the Co-Op, I read on another thread that prices were up to 50% off - dispatched my mother over there to look... she came back and said it was "rubbish" and things were only discounted by 10% - perhaps it'd be better to wait until the final few days to see if prices are cut any further..

  • Any idea where they're going to be? Maybe it's the old Bletchley Co-op!
  • Help me!

I have just found out that I need 4 new tyres and the best price I can get for even budget tyres is £400!!! I dont have a flash car (the opposite in fact - A MG! :o ) but they have 18" tyres which most tyre places dont carry stock of, making sale prices impossible to find. Anyone got any idea what i can do or where I can go in MK to get a good deal (I can find a lot of 2for1 offers, but not on 18")

    Tyres are 225/45/18R

Try http://www.blackcircles.com/ I got 4 225 60 15's for my BMW estate for just over £300 - and they were Firestones, fitted at a garage of your choice from the list - I went to Chalky Whites in Fenny, but there is a good choice of local garages, just scroll down the list as they don't list them in any particular order.

Try Graham at GM Tyres - he's about the cheapest I know - does a variety of brands/sizes and fits them at your home/work. As he's a mobile servicce his overheads are lower so his prices are lower

If you are a member of Costco (or know anyone who is) they have their Michelin's with 20% off at the moment. When I needed knew tyres I found the Michelins at Costco cheaper than budget tyres everywhere else, so they should be quite a bit cheaper with 20% off.
