Hi Raksha, we used the DIY Kitchen Supply company in Newport Pagnell and we were really happy with them. It's a family firm and they were very professional and helpful. They're happy to do the whole kitchen or just little bits and pieces if you're doing most of it yourself. Very flexible.

Yep, we used this company too! They were very nice and did a nice job, I wanted my worktops joined properly and they did them very well!

Thanks very much for that - I've done a search on 't'net' and can't find any contact details for them - you don't have a phone number do you?

Phase 2 isn't as 'nearly finished' as I thought, as OH has had to do a lot of replumbing, and we're still chasing leaks nearly 24 hours later :( AND found out the stop !!!! under the sink doesn't work, so if you see a strange woman in Bletchley, kneeling on the footpath, with her arm stuffed down the water meter hole - give us a wave! ;)

They're at 29 Portfields Road, Newport Pagnell and their number is 218884.

    Good luck with the kitchen!

I know someone who mostly works as a contractor but is also self-employed and does individual jobs too. Raksha, I've PM'd you with some details and more info!

Just had a lovely buffet style mediteranean meal, three courses (or as many courses as you'd like) including soft drinks, tea, coffee, chocolates, biscuits with your coffee, a chocolate fondue thingy - £14.97 each adult. Really welcoming host, made you feel like you were eating in his own home.

Try it, you might be surprised :)

Does anyone know where to buy Hamsters other than Pets at Home? My children want 2 dwarf hamsters, but Pets at Home don't have any available at the moment!

    Thanks

Have you tried Fur and Purr in Stony Stratford?
I was put off Pets at Home years ago when I used to keep rats. I got one from them and it had a broken back - had to pay for the vet to put it down!

Wyevale Garden centre in Woburn Sands sell small furries......... Have you thought about contacting a breeder - to be honest, some of the folk who breed for pet shops don't always breed the best healthiest animals, far better to buy from somebody who breeds for show and may have a mismarked baby or two........ Alternatively - the RSPCA at Blackberry Farm at Aylesbury may have some looking for a good home.
