Thanks hun I reset it but it doesnt seam to have made any difference as still can not make calls etc.
When I typed the other code this came up: <SW VER> M8800BVHK2
VARIANT: ORANGE_UK
LOCALISATION: ORANGE_UK0 -
it sounds network barred to me.

Sounds like the handset has been blacklisted. This means it has been reported as lost or stolen to one of the networks and they hanve blocked it from being used. Afaik there would be no legal way for you to get it un-blacklisted unless you made the original purchase from the network/store.0

Oh really? Thats awful, I thought it was too good to be true! I bought it from the carboot- does that mean it is blocked then? x0
