Before I went into maternity jeans, I bought the next size up to what I used to wear to do for a couple of weeks and I'm back in them now. I think they're tens but I have a belt on with them..
ETA: Just making the point that it ain't all rosy at the other end of the size chart, neither..0 -
I went down to a size 16 whilst I was on maternity leave, but I was out walking to different places with DD and going to all kinds of post-natal exercise classes, which all stopped once I returned to my desk.
ETA: I found post natal pilates helped my stomach muscles post section and my core was definitely stronger - I must find another class I really enjoyed it, low impact but hard work at the same time.Proud to be dealing with my debts

I got back in a couple of pairs of pre-preg jeans this week. Alex promptly did his weekly poo all over me in the health centre. So I did the 30 min walk home with lovely yellow stains on my jeans. Nice!
I also have some next size up jeans which I've been living in. I own two pairs and am sick of the sight of them. They are a bit too baggy now, but my 12s are on the tight side. I've decided tight is the way to go for a few days. I'm back at Slimming World now, so hopefully things will start moving in the right direction. I haven't lost a lb for 6 weeks and Alex is 8 weeks old - even though I've been really careful. I thought breastfeeding was meant to help you lose weight, not keep it on!MSE Parent Club Member #1Yummy slummy mummy club member50% slummy, 50% mummy, 100% proudImogen born Boxing Day 2006Alex born 13 July 20090 -
