ooh Rhys is a dirty stop out!
It's yum with butter on it - hardly healthy again but it does have fruit in it.. in a good batch, raisins, sultanas, cherries, orange peel and lemon peel - now correct me if I'm wrong but that's FIVE pieces of fruit in one mouthful! Ta Daaaaaaa

One of the developmental books I read suggested giving baby a brightly coloured sock and encouraging them to pull them off (to encourage them to touch their toes).. Is that really something you want to encourage when you're trying to get them dressed in a hurry, I wondered?! :cool:0 -
I meant her botty as in skin, does she not get sore?Krystaltips wrote: »Well no... Hence the many water infections

(also got a GP appointment on friday to discuss gastric surgery, I'm wondering if a band/balloon might be an option)
Oh, and how you feel today? Need ((hugs))?
I do love the talk of gastric surgery after saying you eat a lrge pizza
Do you think you could cope going to hosp?
I'm pretty sure they'd want you to try xenax (I think that's what its called, OTC version alli) before they'd refer you to a surgeon. My mum's been on it _pale_ not good when she didn't follow the strict low fat diet!0 -
 :grouphug: That was one of the biggest reasons I wanted us to buy a house (followed closely by not having to ask for permission to knock nails in). Are they allowed to give you such short notice? Here if you have an assured shorthold tenancy (which I think is standard - it's what I've always had) then when it runs out it goes onto a periodic tenancy which means you have to give one month and they have to give two to end it. It's also worth checking your contract as they sometimes pretend things are different to what is in the contract. (When we gave our notice they tried to make us give almost two months notice claiming it was in the contract.) Do you have citizen's advice? If so, they're worth a visit as they may be able to advise you as to what help is available to help you get housing (or at least the one in Durham does).:eek:HELP:eek:
I have just come home to our landlord telling us we need to find somewhere and be out by the 15th october! i could honestly cry right now

omg caz, thats terrible!!
i had a meeting with council worker over council housing last year, and she told me we'd have to do the following to qualify,
a eviction notice from the landlord
inform the council
stay in the house (continue to pay rent)
the LL starts proceedings
inform the council, stay, pay rent...
and so on and so forth, she said it would take about 2-3 months to get a house so to stay in the house to keep a roof over your head  stressful, but better than a hostel with your brood. i hope everything works out for you. its impossible to save enough for a deposit alone in that short time, let alone find a house. i really feel for youMummy to

Me and oh always shuddered when people in movies get out of the shower and pit clothes on while wet!
I've trien xenical (alli) twice, and reuctil twice (appetite suppressants). Would try them again, but they cannot be prescribed now because of my history of depression. I'm pretty sure I fit the crieria, don't know if my age will be a problem.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
She does get sore sometimes Sami, but more likely when she's skidded her pants as well as peeing in them... She's a joy my daughter
Caz, I'm really sorry to hear about your landlady, especially after all the work you've done to the place! Its almost criminal!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
