    Hi Angela :hello:

I saw that you'd posted the other day and meant to say hi. I'm not sure if you remember me but our bumps were due on the same day. I'm glad Rose is doing well (we picked Rose for Caitlin's middle name).

    xxx

    Hi

Yes I remember....Rose was born on 12th May in the end. She is now 15 weeks and doing really well. I think she is almost doing what most 3 month olds would be doing.

When was Cailtlin born? Sorry I can never keep up with this thread. Have tried to make more of an effort the last few days but sometimes its so hard.

Glad you picked Rose, I think its such a lovely name x

i have had good experiences with freecycle as well as bad sami ;) i asked for a cot bumper and i had one the next morning! and bless the lady that gave it to me, it was slightly damp from her washing machine and she was so apologetic! i also got some curtains and that lady brought them to me as she was passing by! :D actually speaking of the curtains, i really need to dye them and put them up :o i only got them 2 months ago...

..I am whispering so as to break it gently...

...you can't tell how long he is by using the scales ;)

:rotfl: Oh, ha ha :p Sorry, I realise now I sounded thick! :o I meant he's growing out of them lengthways DESPITE him not being any where near 7.5lbs yet :p He's still titchy lengthways according to the good ol' growth charts anyway so I think it's the sizing that's wrong!
What is it with some people? You think they'd be a bit more polite seeing as they're potentially getting something for nothing!

I've got replies like "I'll take it".. Err, no you won't - it's going to someone who geniunely needs it, or at least writes a good story! :p

what is the name they use? Fair something policy?
I'm gonna put our mahoosive dinner table on gumtree and I wanna say I'm using the thingy policy - I don't 'do' freecycle coz all I hear is bad things from you lot about it!:p

Know what you mean but can't find it now - they rarely post it as a reminder on ours. I just give it to the nicest person who contacts me within the first half day of the ad. Usually when I've got to the point of putting something on FreeCycle, I just want it out the way ASAP!

That's really good news. I can't believe she's three months old already!

Caitlin was born on 28th June, exactly a week early.

I know what you mean about the thread. It moves so fast but I like to keep up to speed with everyone.

I had one bloke just put "What's your address? I'll come and fetch it now" cheeky wotsit!

And I usually give it to the first polite request I get... Like you, once it's on there I just want rid...

Grr, just discovered that DH only put four scoops of powder in LO's bottle last night instead of five, which means the powder to water ratio would have been wrong

Off to bed now, as we've been having a few disturbed nights recently, and need to catch up on my sleep. Going to a BBQ at mum and dad's tomorrow, so hopefully the weather will be better than today!!
