  • Krystal and caz, I can sort of relate, although Jasmine has never had croup, she has asthma, and it petrifies you when she wakes up struggling to breathe :( Always feel bad as its my fault she has it, I had asthma as a kid and I smoked through my pregnancy with her :(

That's croup... But also works on any other cough / cold when they're stuffy and can't breath...

Within 5mins of going into the bathroom with the shower going on it's highest heat Aimee could breath better.... Was the scariest thing ever waking up to her not breathing properly... And these things always happen in the middle of the night!

Is it croup Abi has? Sorry, read quickly earlier and can't remember.. :o

Question: When you return your nappies to Asda to swap them for bigger ones, do you take the old ones to the customer service desk to ask to swap them. How do you do it? I have 3 packs of huggies from the boots glitch a while back and I need bigger ones now.

I take them to CS, explain DH bought them but they are the wrong size/brand and can I swap them. More often than not they ask me to bring the ones I want over to the desk for a straight exchange but a couple of times they have given me a giftcard for the amount. Make sure you check first that there are no offers on the ones you are returning ;).

I tried it in Tesco once and was told 'only on this occasion as a gesture of goodwill'!

she has to be taken to A and E about 4 or 5 times a year to go on the nebuliser. And she wakes up most mornings in the winter sounding really chesty, but thankfully has never had an attack, but she certainly knows how to scare us with it sometimes

I grew out of mine and was off all inhalers by the time I was 12 or 13, so hopefully she will be the same

its scarey when they get bad and have to go on the nebuliser! im usually the one one with the screaming child and tears running down my face. i have found that having a bowl of water near the radiators helps in winter as the air is not as dry, just silly little things that work!
lets hope they all grow out of it x
