Not much to report had an easy day yesterday except for the shopping  . I hate going to Tescos prefer onlinebut couldnt wait until today. Did OK spent just over £62 which included £2.40 for a sim card for DD2, £8 on chargrill chicken stock up that wasnt on list but everyone loves it and £4 on some "birthday cakes" all not essential. Was really good and did a list of seven mealsfor the week and shopped based on that.
Downside is OH talked meinto buying a small water pump to clear the dregs of the pool - gone green again  - £15.50 which I hadnt really budgetted for so that will come off his budget.
Todays plans are to start teh house tidying lark again. Starting at the end of this post. In laws coming at 11 so want to clear any washing up, wipe surfaces, check downstairs loo, clear front room.
Moneywise hoping for a NSD
Have a great day everyone:j0 -

Oooh lasagne - we (well 'I'!) make a veggie lasagne which is pretty bargainous, just tinned tomatoes (I use the rule of one tin per person and half a tin for each kiddie) chopped with whatever seasonings you like, then chuck in gently fried onion/pepper/mushroom/sweetcorn/grated carrot/whatever veg you like really and a handful of vegemince. Boil then simmer, thicken with veg gravy granules (but not too much as need it a bit liquidy for lasagne sheets), then in dish layer lasagne sheet, tomatoey mix and half packet cheese sauce. Repeat again then top with grated cheese and bake in oven for oooh, about 20 mins.
Erm anyway not sure where that came from but works out pretty cheap and if you just double up on everything you can make extra to freeze. We have it with HM potato wedges (use sunflower oil and season all to coat, chilli as well if feeling adventurous:D) and garlic bread - OH makes a lovely garlic bread where he just uses sliced bread, butters it, spreads a thin layer of garlic puree over the butter, then grills that side til crispy. Mmm loverly!Dealing with my debts!Currently overpaying Virgin cc -balance Jan 2010 @ 1985.65Now @ 703.63
