  • Oooh not paid attention to that a bit annoying but whats new with tv adverts.

We have a Morrisons here which is ok, Sainburies I dont like still find it expensive. Iceland and Farmfoods ok but I find I just dont have the time to shop around even the few small bargains I found in Aldi dont seem worth the extra journeys. Apparently Asda do deliver here so when Im not feeling knackered and have some time Ill investigate that.

I find the petrol points poor so tend to use elsewhere. Also worry about the quality of the fuel.

    Xmas Saver!
Hi, just a quick hi, well done on the new diary, sounds like a good plan, re 4 month cycle, and spending diary.

Don't know if you have had chance to look at the thrify/ organised christmas threads, theres 2, 1 shows you how to budget, and offers, hints and tips, the other being - spend the vouchers, money, and get you organised for xmas.

    xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • Hello

Yes things change so quick that it seems to make sense to have shorter goals/targets.

As per Taxi on that one, I dont seem to get around to other threads like that just easy no brain ones most of the time! Must try harder.

Just done another survey ....long but worth it at £1.50

I'm looking at science OU courses - I need the equivalent of a Science A Level in order to apply for the midwifery course I want to do. Quite like the idea of studying despite being uber busy with the family, probably explains why I spent about 6 years at uni LOL!

Been looking through the little booklet I got with the vouchers yesterday and planning what else I can use them on!

  • Midwife I remeber now you mentioned thats what you would like to do.

Well a bit naughty today got invited to lunch. Spent £5 on me whichaint too bad and then spent another £5 paying back a coupleof small loans I owed from last week sonot including that in the ME budget as thats from this week well should be tues but trying to be extra good.

OH is going to pay to get my highlighted touched up so thats one less cost coming up. I only get my hair sone 2-3 times a year by a neighbour so although it costs its still fairly MSE.

Would like to take the kids and OH to the carvery on Monday about £5 each for a meal but think even thats too expensive.

Better go see if I can find anything to cook for dinner its 7.30
