  • Hello just been reading your diary, happy belated birthday!

Well done for being persistent,i need to get a grip of my finances and reading these diaries will hopefully give me a push in the right direction.

Quick point,i read your first posts on outgoings,do you really pay £95 for internet,tv and telephone? Tv is a luxury (and we all need one),i agree but does seem high for the services.Could you get a package deal etc i pay £22 a month from virgin for internet, telephone and tv although for basic needs, could save you a few bob a month

    well done again

    Hello

Reading other diaries does help from motivation to realisation that many are in similar boats.

95 is a lot isnt it. Unfortunately we dont have Virgin here and BT seems more expensive. In a few months Ill have done the 12 month BT contract and will look to change and see if sky will do deal. Was with TalkTalk which I found out too late was cheaper than BT. Sky includes full package except movies and the same upstairs. OH just added ESPN and should pay another 10 to cover. Cant give up sport he is too much of a fan and stuck in the house too much. So far not found a way to reduce this.

  • Well today has been    on the spending front

£40 in tesco for coat, 3 shirts, socks, tights and basic bathroom scales that dont work .

£21 in M&S for two skirts and a pair of trousers

£50 for flaming PE kit including tracksuit.

All I can say is she better not lose anything or grow another inch! Only the tights were for DD2 the rest all for DD1.

Thankfully all the other two need are new polo shirts. Will be another £30 for four but will get away with for a few weeks.

Oh and I better admit I spent £40 on my hair £10 over budget but I had it trimmed and styled a but it looks great.
