  • NSD so far, not much work done but thankfully not much to do and I have up to midnight to do my milege. Need to do expences too a right pain but worth it when done.

Tommorrow will see me back to proper work off on site hope the weather ok. Its not too bad here light snow at worst.

Other money news is I finally did the balance transfer to Natwest for a 3.9% for six months as MBNA finished last month. Also did £500 ofF Tescos to help with OD. Now have six months to get rid of £1150+3% by July and then remaining OD ASAP.

Have holiday brochures through the post including my Priority Sun Form - up for grabs with you guys first or Ill offer it too someone on the list -. Being strong.

If I can get under the £9k this year I may treat us to a good holiday next year by going abroad for the first time something the kids really want. This year will be day trips using Tesco vouchers.

Good news on the balance transfer to Natwest - how do you think you're fixed for clearing it by July? (tries to do mental arithmetic and fails LOL)

I've been thinking along the same lines as you for holiday - my idea is to keep this year steady and concentrate on clearing my Tesco cc - then think about a "proper" holiday next year. This year just thinking of a long weekend somewhere for the kids. Hadn't thought of using Clubcard vouchers for day trips - any particular favourites?

Well done on making that deciscion..that's what we've done this year as well..decided to forgo our lovely sunny holiday and concentrate oin the debt.
  • Used them for Legoland,Drayton Manor, Big Sheep Farm and Brean Sands fair (cant remember the name). TBH whatever deal I have done its been easy so well worth taking a look at the clubcard website.

Six payments of circa 600 will be needed to clear the Natwest which shouldnt be too bad. I have £250 ish a month surplus if Im careful elsewhere that covers insurance, birthdays and xmas and any holiday so without the latter and my annual contractual bonus I should have enough.

Snow alot worse here now may not be able to travel tomorrow as planned.
