That sounds like a LBM there ISOM...along with all those reasons for not buying you can add less clutter, less dusting.
  • My budget is going to pot this month too KP as had a couple of unforeseen items to buy. i.e. clothes horse and shoes for me. Funny how if it shoes for the kids we just buy them. When they are for me it is a major battle with my conscience
5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

    Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
    By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.00
  • mad isnt it mit!! Hang in there pepys...we'll get there in the end. How did declutter go KP?

  • Well shopping came in at £74.58. Girls brownie/guide trip £20. Only other spend was at homebase £60 free vouchers on paint. Done the landing so far so the large hallway to go then secong coat and lots of glossing. Will be worth it though lots so much better have done.

Def a good LBM there ISOM. Thing is its not material things I tend to buy its food or trips for the kids....saying that I do buy materail bits for the kids as well :(. The house is in a right state because I wouldnt buy paint due to cost.

I do think I spoil the kids a bit too much at times. Like you say MIT so easy to buy "for the kids" rather than on yourself.
