  • Ref BT I have only had two phone billls and 1-2 Broadband so need to look back and see what teh average is. Im sure BT broadband id about to drop on the mat soon.

No no virgin so sky have a monopoly hear. Cant wait until Virgin find their way hear so I can bargain :).

Thanks Taxi - turns out is was heart attack but no symptoms. Just feel sad I wasnt that close but I did enjoy the odd chat with him esp about the footie.

Big argument with OH about the girly trip I want. I know its expensive and I shoudnt spend the money but I have always wanted a girly trip. The holidays since kids have all been for the kids. When I mention trips to Oh together he never seems that enthusiatic. I wish he did have the friends to go away with.

Spends wise ok - spent £6.5 on DD1 in Tesco for jeans, bottoms, new school bag and stationery. Also got DD2 some leggings and a Tshirt. Fiannly got a stationery set for £1 I can use as a gift so thanks to Tesco vouchers and a mate a bargain all together. To top it all that £6 for guides I couldnt remember what it was for was an overpayment :j.

Did spend 60p on the vending machine but lunch was a bag of crisps from home and leftover snacks from a meeting - my hot desk is next to the training room so meetings are fairly common.

OH taken £6 for grocery top up and £1 spent this morning on juice for lunches.

Just off to update sig before I forget all that.

Great news on the homebase vouchers.
Sorry that your OH wasn't receptive of you going away for a girly weekend...I don't know the answer to getting around it.But good luck trying to get him to see reason.

Totally agree, its only a weekend, and you do everything for oh + the kids, never mind all the debt busting you do.
    xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • Spoke about it yesterday - I think he thought I wanted to leave him (not that that hadnt crossed my mind). Said it was him that didnt want to get married and I would exchange the weekend away for a wedding. Long shot I think is that I get my weekend away as he doesnt see marrage is for him or somwthing like that  - Almost 14 years together three kids blah blah men eh

  • Ref debt busting its gone pear shaped again. Forgot about the £30 I donated for the wheelchair and BT £30 over the monthly budget although technically budgetted overall I didnt know the full figure at the last mid month update.

Any ways I now appear to be £148 short :( Think there was a hidden online shop for £60 so £120 accounted for.

Due in and balance - 438
Due out not including personal budgets - 586*

    *Citi CC 36
    Life ins 6
    BT 65
    Tesco dd 5
    Shopping budget 154
fuel budget 172 - hope that is where I can save although a busy month ahead NB most is work with reclaimable mileage
Tesco cc bill due from bank for previous spends - 138

I have cancelled the £6 charity donation not that that makes a hugh difference. A positive point is I did start teh month overdrawn by c 150 but was half hoping to reduce this.

For now I will use the £145 xmas/birthday savings to cover.
