Sounds good today, Wol, good-ish, anyway, hope the background work is going well.

    Hi KC :hello:

Been up since 5am as woke up and couldn;t get back to sleep. Think it's the stress........so came downstairs and started working.

Presentations now all done :D and printed out (40 copies, printed double sided but still amounts to a whole ream of paper to cart out in the suitcase ). Apparently they have a paperless office over there so I have to take everything with me

Might just be able to fit in a pair of knickers if Im lucky :o

Just need to get sick piggies suitcases organised now with food/meds/bottles/bedding/carriers and snuggle blankets (then ones in the house love their towels and fleeces :D). However going to take it very easy today and will probably go for a snooze later as feeling pretty run down atm.

    How's you Hun?

Hey Wol - there is no such animal as a paperless office - if they have no paper what do they use when they need the loo?

Might be hanging around Bham airport later like a groupie - in the hope of catching sight of my 'new' friend Steve;)

erm.... so, do they *want* paper? This is a horrible question to ask after you've bothered to print it all, I know :o:o:o

:rotfl:knickers are necessary! In my world, anyway :D

Aw, poor little things, I hope they don't have to carry their own suitcases (did you ever see that live action children's programme when you were little, Tales from the Riverbank? Thats what I'm thinking of :) )
    How's you Hun?

I'm good, ta - I'm tired too, but generally okay. I have that structural engineer coming along this afternoon to check those falling walls, so that should be a barrel of laughs

Don't work too hard in Belfast - when ever I think of Belfast, now, I think of the Giant's Causeway - when I'm solvent, I'll have to take a long weekend and go looksee.......

Hee hee KC..personally I don;t think I can do a whole day's workshop of presentations about how to finance your business without giving people the handouts...they expect it! Which is why I think it is really silly the business support organisation are trying to run a paperless office and then applying for this type of Government funding to run these types of programmes...anyway I shall get off my soap box :o

Tales of the Riverbank is one of my all time faves (although I do think Hammy was a bit wet......but GP was superb!!).....and I have the DVD (somewhere :o)

Nearly got everything sorted today for my trip in terms of handouts etc (but not clothes yet) ...although have to admit I spent the whole of the afternoon asleep.:D

Tonight I am pottering around tidying up the chaos from the last two weeks and backing up the new PC...Guinea meds for tonight are all done (although possibly two new cases of resipratory infection in Piggie Palace noted today so will make a decision on Whisp and Iroko ref taking them also to vets to board when I weigh them again tomorrow)

Posted earlier on your diary reference the structural stuff...

Hugs to you Hun...talk when I get back

I have been following your exploits on the Troll thread.........
    ...........you GO gal...:T:j:D

Did get your Pm thanks but not really had time to think about it yet as need to get back to some kind of normality with clients (I have lots of work with clients lined up and need to fit it all in before committing to extra meetings)..and am loking forward to Novemebr when things should calm down a little. At the moment all I;m focusing on is this trip to NIreland and hoping my piggies will be OK without me :o

Right off to do some more pottering

    Hi Wol

Nice to hear you are a bit brighter....I may not always post but I do keep up to date with your diary.

Just wanted to wish you a safe trip & successful seminar/workshop event this week. Maybe a change of scenery will do you good....even if it is work related.

    Hi Angie

You could be right - a change is as good as a rest they say! Have been pottering getting the house in order os it is not in too depressing a state when I get back late friday evening.

Hope you're feeling a bit better yourself :grouphug::grouphug:

Just been told my data is recoverable now they have changed the shorted out board on the hard drive...........wait for it....for the princely sum of £950 :eek::eek:

I have most of it from the nice IT man who recovered my back up but really DO need the last 4 weeks as there's some really importnat stuff on there.....and the price quoted is AFTER a prolonged negotiation......it's daylight robbery.:mad:

Will have a think about whether it;s worth it while I'm away..and I will be able to offset it against tax as a business expense..(Needless to say this is not covered on the insurance - only replacing the laptop)

    :(
