wol can i check something, are apples ok for guinea pigs? i saw a tv program today that said the pips are poison for rabbits but i'm now worried about the piggies.
My sister has just gained two girlie piggies, Mo (Mohecan) and shadow, only seen a photo of one and it looks like a long haired fluffy scruffy one, will be going to visit my two new piggie nieces tomorrow.

wish this place was taking shape, i think realistically as we can't have an extension it's going to have to be the charity shop and flame thrower, but sometimes i just don't know where to start.

Apple pips concentrate cyanide so deffo no good for piggies...apple in itself shoud just be an occasional treat - as it can, owing to it;s acidity, cause bacterial infections on the piggie mouth/lips...

I give my piggies chopped cored apples as part of a veggie mix (with cucumber, celery and carrots) no more than once a momth

    HTH

Very sad you can;t make it to The Rave Hun.......however - we WILL meet up soon!!

Numpty has put back all the carpets today :j:j:j:j

Numpty is now knackered and probably won;t be able to move tomorrow . He is currently in the shower prior to Wol treating him to fish and chips supper :)

Wol has done virtually nothing all day because Grommie guinea developed serious head tilt this morning :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:.....a very serious condition for guineas :(:(:(:(:(

Grommie WILL be here for the Rave - as evidenced by the fact that by the time he went to the vet this afternoon it was like nothing (apart from 10% of body weight lost over 24 hrs ) was wrong (insert confused smiley)...oh, maybe my prompt action with the antibioitics this morning might have had something to do with it :o

Wol has been blubbing for the last hour - carpets all back......home now restored.....(......and my mum !!!!ed on my parade today .....huh!!......plus ca change!!!) ...etc etc

Countdown to The Rave begins tonight (slight panic )
