Wol...step away from the wine bottle..you've sampled enough this week. Run a nice bath, sling in a lush bath bomb if you have one or dangle a bunch of lavender under a tap, after bath put fluffy jimjams on and curl up in bed with a book - guaranteed you will be nodding off.

Stop beating yourself up missus you are organised and so what if you havent sent Mr Numpts your music list, I can sling a few CDs in a bag.

Talking of bed..its time I was in mine..I have had too many early mornings this week and I need a lie in til at least 8am tomorrow.

    Nite all xx

Ooohhh - sounds like bad news but I am not so sure ...you have clearly been told that it is (insert confused smiley) ..... BUT most importantly to my mind...your nodes were pronounced clear ...:T.....So, thinking back to my family member and the Herceptin, they were +ve but they didn;t want Herceptin because of the other implications for the womb lining etc - This could possibly be a blessing in disguise for you as don;t forget - your nodes are clear..so therefore, bearing in mind the triple negative stuff is connected to preventing further spread of an already spreading condition...BUT..... yours isn;t agressively spreading.......so if I understand correctly, that should make all the difference...... despite the size (and therefore grading).....

Hmmmmm...Need to know more as I am a tad confussed as to why your triple negative is such bad news given the lack of spread......and I know it;s difficult when you are in front of the consultants being bombarded with info. So Hun - we will have a proper conflab when you come down (amidst much wine, conviviality and good food) and if neccessary we will talk to my bro ;) . If you want to ring me beforehand then please do so and I will see what i can find out in advance of The Rave to hopefully set your mind at rest

    Hugs Hun...

    P.S. - OI!!!!!!......Dinna worry lass...course you;ll still be around :D

The problem with triple negative is the very high risk of recurrence within two years.
Unfortunately nothing to do with node involvement.
Hormone receptive cancers can have herceptin, tamoxifen thrown at them so better 5 year survival rates as the herceptin is what stops it from coming back.

I'll be getting chemo and rads as there is nothing else...this is to prevent it growwing again.

Ow!!!!.:(:(..That's clearly not so good then HUn and I can understand why you are obviously pretty poleaxed at the results :( -

So very sorry to hear this HUn but please keep your pecker up :)..:Piggies are all rootling for you

Homeopathy "might" be an additonal way forward - my family member was "permitted" after much conflab/fighting with GP and consultant - to elect this over any herceptin and tamoxifen route because it was shown on anaylsis that they actually had very little "increased risk of recurrence" while OFF the hormone treatment compared to ON it"

I know that your diagnosis is triple negative......but I think there could be more to this than you have been told in terms of alternative treatments and I will now look into it....you are NOT a number , you are an Individual.....

    Please Stay strong hun
