Mudbath that sounds a plan, my DH goes but unfortunately he leaves me with the pooch and children to contend with
juliejim thanks for mentioning that about the hangers, I could do with some of those
AnWsMum well done on the clearing out!!
Crafty for us it depends on who has delivered it and when, we have had some attempts on Thursday we have had to wait until Mondays for. If you phone the office they might be able to redliver sooner.
boddy well done to your DD, keeping my fingers crossed and well done with the kids, at least they seem to have shown some respect.
thrifty knowing what frinds/family are going through just be pleased you are getting viewings, my parents have had 3 in two years!
soappie ditto what toots said, I had to laugh at our council who have insisted for health and safety reasons to put full scaffolding up to fix the shed roof at our new house....madness! I shall not tell my red arrows mad boys who you are off to meet, they love the Reds!
Caravan cleaned, unfortunately now messed up again. Met my Dad at the aircraft museum in York instead of at the caravan site, so a busy day. They allowed dogs in which helped of course so wasn't an issue us going. DPs gone home for work so just me and the boys all weekend, I might get a chance to post now he won't 'need' the BB dongleI need to do a washer load tomorrow, general tidy/clean up as usual then see what we have left in for tea. I have a car this time for the weekend which will help, just not looking forward to sorting the boys stuff out so they can go fishing. We also went to an outlet centre place which actually had a Clarks, never been in one, got school shoes for DS1 but nothing with Velcro in a 6.5 for DS2 so will have to try another shop as the 6 was too small, just wrong for an 8 year old to need such big shoes! We also got 6 pairs of trainers for £100 which wasn't bad at all, keeping a pair for each of us for when we go to Spain, will let them wear them for a few clean days to get used to them. Trying to remember what else I got, oh a new bag because mine snapped and new watch for DP...plus a necessary splurge in the Cadburys shop. Another BBQ tonight as the weather was nice again.
Boys are finally asleep, bed time for me, goodnight everyone x x x xOne day I might be more organised...........

I have been destressing and decluttering over the hols, but mostly catching up on sleep and spending time with LOs.
I hit the sales hard this summer and although I got some good bargains I will spend the next few months paying for it. I went to one of those outlet places as well and got a year’s worth of shoes at Clarks. DS's school shoes were about £10 off the original price and I was really impressed with the fitting service. I got my work shoes for half what I would have paid normally.:money: I also bagged a few bits on clearance at the M&S to jazz up my old clothes. My star buy was an everyday wear cardi from next for less than half price that I will literally wear every day that my classroom is chilly.
For the rest of this week I plan to sort through all the clothes and iron what needs it. I will; check all hems, pockets and such; mend anything that needs mending; weed out what doesn’t have any life left and organise it all into the right place. I will also do some practice dressing with DS so that he can dress himself with minimal supervision in the mornings.
Once the clothes are out of the way I intend to begin deep cleaning each room and finales my plans for school.
I will also catch up with as much of the thread as I can manageThe work will wait for you to finish showing the LOs the rainbow, but the rainbow would not wait for you to finish the work.0 -

Morning All
I've been up for ages - DS woke up at 4.30 and never really went back to sleep. I'm carrying on with my decluttering today - I would like the downstairs to be something like.
I've been reading the thread from a couple of weeks ago so now I'm all confuddled because I don't know what's happened this week and what's old news.
Have a good day all

Good morning everyone! We had friends round for supper last night, and it was so lovley, we ate outside :j We came in for coffee as it was getting dark, and they didn't leave too late. We decided to leave the dishes until this morning, so that's my first job
DD 16yo is still considering going to Art College, so I packed her off on the 7:20 train  to Leeds to see what the journey is like. Her brother 14yo decided to go with her, but he's under strict instructions not to assist, as she has to be able to do it aloneIt's a bit scary, but they have phones and emergency money, so will be fine.
Right, off to takle that kitchen.
