Im really nervous about today and feel very underprepared....I havent been to an interview for ages, but I know that I know this job and could do it and do it well. I also know that I know the right things to say; I dont know, I guess I just really want a job and am worried. And the last 24-48 hours couldnt have come at a more inconvenient time!!

Jo - you'll be fine. Hopefully the stuff with your ex has taken your mind off the interview for a bit and stopped you worrying about that at least! Remember that whatever the outcome, the experience will be useful - if you don't get it, it gives you practice for whatever comes up next. More importantly, have you decided what to wear? Do you know how to get there? If you're early, is there somewhere you can wait up the road so that you get there no more than 10 minutes early... and you don't risk being late?

Try to get them to give you plenty of background about the role at the beginning, as this will help you to work out where to pitch your answers. Let us know how it goes.

Suppose I should get dressed as I need to leave for the station imminently... off to make cupcakes and try to find out why no one is making a decision on my current project... and find out when exactly I need to return some paperwork, as I haven't had the energy to read through all the relevant legislation to check that it does mean what I think it does but there is no way I'll sign it without checking each and every clause that they refer to and working out the implications (and making notes to keep with my copy!!!)

    Morning All

    Good Luck for today Jo.

    Have a great time Valli.

The kids are off to Cadbury's World today so I've got most of the day on my own so I'm hoping to get loads done - I may need some motivation though!

I need to make the kids packed lunches and sort out DS's steroid card and tablet.

Going to put the washing on the line now though, then put hte bedding in the WM.

    Have a good day all

Don't forget to MAKE A BACKUP!!!! It's worth getting an external HD and some backup software. Failing that, burn pics to CD/DVD regularly. Obviously you can't do the same with music as you'd be in breach of copyright :D
That was exactly what I was trying to do (make a back up, not breach copyright lol!), the pics I (nearly) lost were brand new pics/vids uploaded onto lappy which I was about to burn onto CD/DVD and upload to truprint (the pics). Computer died before I got a chance to do this, and had to do recovery. I always keep them on the SD card until other copies are made but somehow the files on the SD card got corrupted this time . Nevertheless I found a program which recovered all the files from the SD card for me, and even though they were not visible normally they were still in there.
