Toots - just remember the Shattereds are coming to see YOU not your palace BUT we want piccies...
(will you need a translator? :rotfl:)

    EWWWW WARNING

DS's shirt/tops wardrobe has been smelling rather 'odd' something I couldn't quite put my finger on so I kept opening it, sniffing and pondering - have just decided he must have put something damp in there - then TWIGGED. He went playing golf last week - I opened golf shoe box and there it was, musty, fusty damp soil (now dried) encrusted on the soles of his golf shoes. They have now been relocated to the shed, where they are lying on a bootscaper thus allowing air to circulate. They will need to be cleaned when we get back...
Wardobe sprayed with room fragrance - and room. Unfortunately it's antique rose LOL. Window left wide open.

I would love to give exoh his stuff each time hes here but he doesnt (usually) have a car (his mum only put him on her insurance for this month so he could drive them to their luxury caravan holiday!) He gets here on his pushbike usually so he cant take stuff with him hes also sleeping on a matress in his mates spare room apparently and so he cant store his stuff there.

Been going on at him for months to ask his mum to let him put it at hers but he said she said no just like moving back in with her was a no despite her having 2 spare rooms..... now shes supposed to have said ok after i had a massive row with him over it, and he was ALLEDGEDLY moving it at the weekend to his mums garage, but then his mum "was out" all weekend so he couldnt borrow her car or get into the garage so couldnt move any of it

All his furniture is meant to be going to his mates business unit to be stored... but not heard anything said about that....i get the impression his family are trying to push us back together so are being as awkward about accomadating his stuff as possible on the hope he can just move back here..... they'll have a bl00dy long wait. :)

I wish i was a nasty person and could bin it all........ but im too nice for my own good :(
:( I know what you mean about being too nice but it also means that you are the better person :D.

Anyway my bed is calling me. No doubt the children will be up at about 6

Hope you all have a good night sleep and sweet dreams.

Those of you with exOH's stuff lying around.
My OH left in April 2005.
I sold his trolley jack (left behind)
    erm - this year!

have finally persuaded DS to go to bed. :DNo doubt will spend an equivalent amount of time in the morning trying to persuade him to get up.;)
Am working on the dining room hotspot...:o one item at a time, properly! Following Valli's law of keeping the place tidy, as detailed in my siggy.. 'Don't put it down...'

Jo good luck with tomorrow, I'm sure you will wow them hon.
Hugs to those that need them/are poorly and happy holidays to those that are going away :)

Well haven't done any fiying in my own house so why have I offered to help my friend sort her house out over the next few weeks. Hmmm am I mad or what? I'm going to be tied up every other morning for a couple of hours, for at least 6 weeks, helping her so that she doesn't feel so frazzled. Although I think most of it will be keeping the littleys amused and generally motivating her..as well as washing up her mountain of stuff when needed. Wouldn't be so bad but she has 7 children (including foster kids as well) and three bouncy dogs, one of them a 12 week old puppy - ack! I'm mad!!!

Lodgercat went back to the vets today, had to have another round of blood tests but the good news is that his red cell count is climbing now - that is such a relief. But he still needs medication for a while yet, and I expect I shall get quite used to the vets reception area for a few weeks. He is slowly starting to show more interest in everything now, and we are eating a bit better. Not a lot but some!

Flying wise I've hoovered all my landing, stairs, toilet and bathroom and bedroom floors. Washed up a few bits, wiped down the cooker and hob and watered the plants.

Just checking emails on lappy in bed, then will settle down as I have an early start tomorrow..

    *hugs* everyone

Big squishy hugs hun. My other half has just gone down to a three day week and its hitting us hard. I cant go back to work right now so really stuggling. I feel for you hunni. Fingers and toes and eyes crossed something crops up for him so you can spend a little more time at home with bubs....but dont stress out too much about it, if little one does have to go into a nursery it will help develop social skills etc and you may even get some peace!!!;) xxxx

Well seeing as I have been waiting for DVD to burn I set to task for tomorrow's list and it now looks like this:

Tuesday Twinkles ~ Kitchen and dining area: All done :j.... star please Toots

Also the Extras looks like this:
    1. Wipe the back door.. inside and out
[STRIKE]2. Clean a small appliance.. decrumb the toaster etc[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE](3. Scrub out the grill pan- not being used as awaiting new part!)[/STRIKE][FONT=&quot] Ended up giving it a wipe over and putting nice fresh foil on.
[/FONT]Will also order photos as that was originally my substitute for this one!
    [STRIKE]4. Clean light fittings[/STRIKE]

Off to bed now me thinks, will wash the door and order photos tomorrow afternoon. Might do a wash and also the usual dailies like feeding cat, watering toms etc.
It is nice to be a bit ahead of myself but tbh don't fancy staying up this late to make DVD's too often .
