    Success!
The address wouldn't "stick" so closed the window and started again. It still didn't "stick" but gave me the blank lines to fill in, and had my congratulations email!

lol liam, the stories we could all tell about those cars.

Nearly everything on them could be broken, but on the other side of the coin, it did mean everything on them could be replaced without spending a fortune, as in you could DIY!

Somewhere in my pc there is a photo of me sat in this car. I sobbed like a baby, I'd got to play with a car that I'd had a poster of for the past ten years.

It's insured for £150,000 now. Yay for minis!!
Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)

Just got my email saying I got one. I did have to call them up though and a very very nice lady registered my details over the phone.

I gave up trying online as whenever I got the page up, I got to the address bit and it just kept asking me again and again to enter my address.

Thanks to the OP for this and to the other's who suggested calling!

thanks OP I have mine confirmed now. I still own a mini, she is in the garage at the moment waiting for Mummy (that's me by the way) to get some money to have her restored to her former glory. I can't wait to have her back on the road, my every day car is a defender so have got used to trundling around...

I think I may have cracked it (or got lucky!) I tried loads of times with all sorts of email addresses and post addresses and nothing has worked. Today, even the post code finder didnt accept the address even though it had appeared to. Was forced to use the manual fill in. I then tried filling ALL fields on the form including the unnecessary extra address fields and optional telephone field and this worked a charm! Got two separate emails to two addresses (for different people) saying a medal will be in the post!! If this works for anyone else, let us know.

Took a few goes, kept refusing address when I used the address search. Put address in manually and added phone number that I had previously ommitted and it then went through

Has anyone else noticed the medal design?

    top_medal.jpg

In the numbers going around the outside of the second design, where the 80 and 90 are, they're sort of, well, the right way up to look at the numbers, but the wrong way up to go with the rest of the other numbers. To me, it looks like it goes '60, 70, 08, 06'!

This could be just me, of course. The older Minis may have had this design on their speedometers; I've had two, but they were late 80s/early 90s models so may have had more modern dials (and, by the way, for anyone who hasn't driven a Mini, 90mph is possible, but make sure you clear it with air traffic control first ;)).

Let me know what you think! Incidentally, I think the rest of the design is pretty great - I love the subtle British flag on the front and how the speedo is at 59mph. But that's just me being a design geek!

It's true to the real Mini's centre speedo :)
Can't wait to get mine to go with all my other Mini gubbins, does make me want another though :o
