Does anyone know how long it takes for the Medal to arrive because i saw the draw date for the Gold medal was the 21st do we get a silver one and then if were lucky a gold one or do we have to wait till teh draw is done and then we recieve just the one?
The draw is being made on 21st September.

Everybody who has received a confirmation email will receive a silver coloured medal. You have also been entered into the aforementioned draw to win one of 50 gold coins.

I've no idea when you're likely to receive them though!

Thanks for all your help on the speedo design guys, I guess I'm just too young to know about Minis in the old-fashioned days :rotfl: I've only ever had two (passed test at 17 and now 22) - an Austin Mini Designer (Mary Quant Ltd Edition) which got stolen and arsoned :( and a Rover Mini City Auto - both brilliant and I loved them to bits until they were killed or died!

But yes, the stories we could tell. My best ones are when I got stuck in an enclosed carwash because the trim got snagged in the brushes (Sainsbury's gave me lots of vouchers and wine and chocolates for my trauma and damage to the car, yay!) and when someone poured pink gloss paint on it, and when the wing mirror fell off leaving Nottingham one time, and nearly hit someone behind me (ouch, that could have been nasty!)

Oh, those were the days. Everyone should have one as a first car, they'd learn so much more than driving a modern car, and have a lot more sleepless nights! :rotfl:
  • does anyone know how long these take to arrive?
