I actually bought the mini £5 from The Royal Mint a couple of days ago.

I saw this offer and have been trying to register online to get it, but with no luck, the form kept crashing, now you can't even get the form up.

I rang up and spoke to the customer services, they first of all said it was for new customers only, but I explained the form said it was for existing customers, plus I was a new customer my first purchase was only made a couple of days ago and I still haven't even received it yet.

The lady was very nice on the phone and registered me, taking all my details again, and said it had all gone through ok.

I could see them being very busy today when people start ringing up!!

I have just tried to email them... at 12.58 today.... I will let you all know if I receive one. I will be really sad if I cannot get one as my OH is mini-mad!

for anyone not being able to register go to the home page and contact them explaining that you want to reister for a fee mini medal but cant get through and have tried for days they will contact you back.#

in the email send your date of birth and confirm you have read the terms and conditions, i got my email telling me i would get one this morning.

i would hurry though;)

I just called them and they did it by phone, used skype for a cheapo call. or use your free minutes if you have any left
