Hi all..lovely day again...crisp but dry.
Am quite a happy bunny as have had my thinking hat on:j:j:j:j:j
I'm giving up on the Santander CC transfer as they don't know their asses from their elbows:eek::eek::eek:...
So I had that 0% offer from MBNA(A+L ) card until March 2010...so have done a money transfer to my bank....I will then pay it to Virgin.:T
Then I have done a BT for the other £1800 from DHS Halifax CC:T:T
So we should be at nil then bar £5 and interest.. and it's all back on 0%:T
Why didn't I think of that before?:eek::eek::eek:
couple more posts to follow..sorry0 -
Right onto the mortgage plan:
Quite excited about this as I may even be debt and mortgage free by the end of the mortgage free in three challenge that ends in December 2012.
How good would that be?:D:D:D:D
If I save £500 p/m x 36 months =£18000 plus interest.
£448 odd mortgage payment about £400 comes off capital(£400x 36)= £14400
Both halifax loans finish in 2 years..one £186.01 and one £196.60
12 x£186.01 =£2232.12 + interest
12 x £196.60=£2359.20 + interest
TOTAL.....£36991.32 plus interest.
£44560.97 -£36991.32 =£7569.65
£7569.65 -£1730 (egg)= £5839.65-( reg saver£500) =£5339.65 -£1000..(nov,dec 500p/m reg saver) =£43339.65
£4339.65 divided by 36 =£120.54 p/m into egg
So I need to put away £500 p/m reg saver
£150 p/m egg for mortgage and say £100 rough towards tax
and pay off all bills and this assumes letting the loans run their course.
I have not took into account any interest gained either...nor november mortgage payment
May be doable.0
