Hi all...day off today for DH and I .Am awaiting for him to get up and then we can go to the Halifax and pay a good overpayment today.I can't do it by myself as it's DH card and he also needs to get some money out of an account (passbook so he needs to sign).
Just had an interesting coversation with Santander CC card cancellation services. If you remember they sent me a guaranteed approval for their new card..cut a long story short...they gave me a limit of £500 even though I'd put on the form that I wanted to BT £7100 Virgin CC to get them... I got the card and didn't even register it.
I decided to phone them to cancel it this morning and when he asked why I explained to him about the BT I wanted and that I thought I'd get a similar amount to the card it was replacing an MBNA and that MBNA still have £5k limit..they are replacing my card and I have a BT for 12 months offer from them...so what use is his card so he has appealed the deciscion as they want to keep me as a customer and I will supposedly hear in 3-5 days..so we'll see!!!...if it works..I only want £6000 BT now.....it will mean Virgin back on 0%...so here's hoping

Not intending doing much cleaning today..if any..lol..as I'm tired.
I also need to do my banking and accounts for today..will do accounts before DH gets up and bank when I go out with DH to pay the Overpayment.
I've checked accounts and everything seems to be in order and need to update my sig later when back.
Hope everyone is having a good day off to check up on you all.

Have updated my sig to include my Virgin CC ..that has gone down by £210.66 after interest. So those PADs worked.(updated first post accordingly).
Can't wait to get in the £70ks...at the end of today I will have cleared over £6k from my debts since 15th August.

Good for you, taxi - glad to hear that the cc co are rethinking after the straight talking you gave them.

Thanks KC..it will make areal difference if they do it as this is the card I'm tackling at the moment...I stupidly trapped an interest bearing debt behind a 0% tranfer...so it will free that up.

I think I remember that - that phrase always stands out for me. If this will sort it, thats better again. Good for you for sticking at it - I think thats one of the hardest things to do, when something big can be sorted by a whole constant stream of fiddly little things, to just keep at it till its done.

    hugs!
